Assemblée nationale illuminée de nuit

Paris – National Assembly

By Lighting design

It is with great pride that after 5 years of work, last May we inaugurated the new nocturnal image of the National Assembly, an emblematic French monument, a high symbol of democracy. As part of the restoration of its north facade and in collaboration with the technical team and the architects of the Palais Bourbon, this building is now enhanced thanks to a discreet, modern and respectful installation. A warm white illumination, bringing the peristyle back to life with a play of amber lights, now extends over the side facades highlighting the high reliefs. Finally, this lighting sublimates the statues of the steps and the legislators.

Saumur

By Lighting master plan

An architectural gem bathed by the Loire, the town of Saumur is nestled in lush greenery where vineyards and white tufa houses rub shoulders.

It is through the establishment of a Global Performance Market that the City has decided to upgrade the lighting of its streets while rethinking its consumption habits.

Within the framework of this contract, NoctaBene has produced the Master Plan for the City’s Lighting in order to guide the Citeos company in a proposal combining elegance, durability and sobriety, through an ambitious program of lowering and extinguishing on the City, as well as proposals for the enhancement of its most emblematic monuments, which will contribute to the revitalization of Saumur nights while remaining particularly attentive to minimizing their environmental impact.

This revitalization project also involves the proposal of a unique light sculpture for the Christmas holidays, produced in collaboration with LEA – Les Éclairagistes Associés.

NoctaBene accompanies the city in the nocturnal planning of its territory, built around the present and future issues and challenges of the City: to include the Pré in an ambitious program of sustainable development, aiming at a strong reduction in its energy consumption, while consolidating, at night, the bucolic atmosphere that offers Gervaisiens a unique living environment at the gates of the capital.

NoctaBene & Kandela have been selected by the Departmental Council and the Syndicat Intercommunal d’Energies d’Indre-et-Loire to define the future permanent illumination of the Royal Fortress of Chinon, a prestigious site in the Loire Valley.

Through time and conquests, the fortress has been left with its unique character, its patina, its memory which is revealed under the new attention that contemporary man gives it, aware of the richness of its heritage.

At the crossroads of three royal provinces, Chinon was born from the rich hours of history, embodying its own role, discreet or decisive depending on the era.

The village, a vestige preserved from this crossing of time, developed with the castles, below their imposing ramparts, lived on history, or to its detriment, was built from the stones of the fortress which sits quiet seat overlooking the Vienne to form with him the Chinonaise city.

The Indre-et-Loire department aims to preserve and enhance this exceptional heritage. Lighting will highlight the unique architectural details of the fortress and reveal the nocturnal identity of the site, giving it a new spectacular and modern dimension.
